The Internal Quality Audit (AMI) is part of an internal quality assurance initiative designed to evaluate the implementation of work programs, the attainment of quality standards, and the completeness of supporting documentation for academic activities and study program governance. Through this audit, the S2 IAT program received feedback regarding achievements that meet established standards, as well as areas that require further improvement.

The audit results indicate that the majority of data and activities within the S2 IAT program are in compliance with applicable regulations. However, certain documents and supporting data require more systematic organization to ensure they are easily traceable, well-documented, and can be utilized optimally for quality evaluation processes.

The Head of the S2 IAT Study Program, Dr. Ali Imron, M.S.I., welcomed the audit as a step toward enhancing the quality of the program's management. He expressed his hope that the shortcomings identified during the audit would be promptly addressed, leading to more organized and measurable program implementation and activity documentation.

Dr. Ali Imron also noted that the implementation of the new Internal Quality Audit (AMI) system has encountered some technical challenges. Consequently, further adjustments and coordination are necessary to ensure that the processes of completing audit instruments, providing data, and compiling supporting evidence can be carried out more effectively. Through the implementation of the 2026 Internal Quality Audit (AMI), the Master’s Program in Quranic Studies and Interpretation (IAT) at the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought (FUPI), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, is committed to continuously following up on audit findings. Improvements in documentation, data organization, and the strengthening of the quality management system are expected to support the enhancement of academic service quality and the consistent execution of the three pillars of higher education (tridarma).
